Yesterday was cold and rainy. I LOVE that type of weather on the weekends when I can sit on the couch all day watching bad 80's movies. I don't really love it when I have to walk to work in a torrential downpour. Luckily, I have some amazing rain boots that make rainy days so much better {more about that in a bit}. Do you have rain boots?
The highlight of my rainy day yesterday was another get-together with the gorgeous Julie from
Julip Made {if you haven't visited her blog yet--you must!}. We enjoyed hot drinks, swapping blog information and shopping at World Market. She is a master in the kitchen, so on her recommendation, I came home with these goodies {our next date will be Christmas cookies and cocktails. I. CAN'T. WAIT!}

Black Truffle Oil. $9.99. {I couldn't find it on the World Market website. Picture found here.} |
 |
Bacon Salt. $3.99 I bought this for the hubby who would add bacon to our toothpaste if I let him. He was VERY excited when I whipped this out of my purse. |
Back to the boots. Kamik Rain Boots. The Jennifer ones to be exact. I ADORE them. I've been wanting a pair of rain boots for a while and finally ordered a pair after doing a bit of research. If you don't have rain boots, run and get some immediately! They make such a difference on rainy days because they are fun to wear, you can splash in puddles and you'll be so busy admiring your new boots that you won't even notice that your hair resembles a poufy, frizzy mess.
Mine are black and are the same height as the Hunter boots, but half the price! They are also super comfortable {I have walked 2+ miles in them} and my feet have remained dry and cozy. I ordered mine from Amazon and the prices range from $52.99 to $64.95. xo
