It hasn't been an easy decision, but I've decided to go back to the basics with my blog.

Lately, I've been overwhelmed with blogging because I've been focusing on the wrong things--the number of followers and comments on my blog.  I've also been struggling to balance blogging with all the other important things in my life (my hubby, my family, exercising, my job, etc).

I can no longer dedicate the same amount of time to my blog, so I'm getting rid of comments and Google Friend Connect and just focusing on what I love most about blogging--an area to post about the fabulous things I find online. xo

Eaton Trading Company

I came across Eaton Trading Co via Daily Candy and was instantly smitten with the online store.

The biggest draw for me? A jewelry designer that was new to me--Megan Meade. I was oohing and ahhing over her handcrafted jewelry with vintage chains and natural stones. So, naturally, I had to own a piece! The bracelet I wanted was too large for me, so I emailed the company to see if it was possible for the designer to make it smaller and guess what? The OWNER of the company, Paul, emailed me back and told me he'd be happy to have the bracelet made smaller. Impressive, right? I loved the personal interaction with the owner and was blown away when my package arrived - it included a personal note of thanks, a cool Eaton Trading Co bag and the most beautiful of bracelets.
